MSE Foundation to host Wizards Memorabilia Auction on Dec. 30.

December 21, 2016
Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation is hosting an in-game Washington Wizards memorabilia auction on Handbid at the Wizards game vs. Brooklyn on Friday, Dec. 30. Handbid is a native app that empowers users to bid on auction items using a mobile device, online or with a tablet during events. Through Handbid, bidders can enter bids remotely or locally, manage their bids with proxy bidding and instantly view the status of all bids.

Users will be able to bid on items from in-game memorabilia auctions as well as use the app during MSE Foundation special events.

The auction on Dec. 30 will include autographed, player-worn Adidas shooting shirts and autographed Wizards and Nets jerseys and basketballs.

Fans who wish to participate in the auction should download the app on all of their Apple and Android devices, then create an account by following the app’s instructional prompts. Handbid users can also access the auction online and do not have to be present at Wizards game to participate in the bidding.

The auction items will be on display at section 104 so game attendees can see the merchandise in person. MSE Foundation will also provide a limited number of iPads at each memorabilia auction so that fans can bid at the table.

Visit www.nba.com/wizards/auctions for a list of in-game memorabilia auction dates or stop by the MSE Foundation table at Section 104 on the concourse for more information.
