Capitals All For One, Won For All Puck Surprise raises $15,000 for Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation

February 26, 2019
The Washington Capitals raised $15,000 for Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation through the team’s All For One, Won For All Puck Surprise, which took place at the Caps game against the New York Rangers on Feb. 24. The fundraiser featured 375 pucks incorporating the Capitals’ “All For One. Won For All.” slogan in a special design as part of the 2018-19 Puck Surprise Series. The pucks were signed by players and sold for $40 each. Fans lined up on the concourse to purchase the pucks as soon as they went on sale when the doors opened to Capital One Arena. A limited number of pucks were available online to purchase through Handbid.com.

Dawn Gorton, Mike Karlson, Caylee Mattera, Emily Sadoff and Karen Scarfone were the All For One, Won For All Puck Surprise winners. The five winners selected unsigned pucks and got to meet Capitals defenseman and NHL All-Star John Carlson. Carlson signed their pucks and took photos with the winners.

All proceeds from the All For One, Won For All Puck Surprise benefit Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation, the official charity of the Washington Capitals, Mystics, Valor and Wizards, Baltimore Brigade and Capital City Go-Go.

The Capitals would like to congratulate our All For One, Won For All Puck Surprise winners and thank all the fans who helped make it a success.
